Dale and Taylor’s wedding I knew was going to be amazing when I met with them, but omg you guys, I had no idea what a perfect day it was going to be. The location was such a dream, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect, okay, maybe a little less hot, and the most incredible people.

First off, Taylor is basically a model and dropped some jaws when they saw her in her wedding dress. I mean, I don’t think she could be more gorgeous than she is! Oh and Dale, you may have had to use instructions to fold your pocket square, but you wore that suit like it was made for you. It’s honestly not even fair how gorgeous you two are.

Their first-look was incredible. They are some of my favorite photos from the day and I cannot get over Dale’s face when he saw Taylor for the first time. Of course, I’m a sucker for crying at a wedding, but it was just the most pure and amazing few moments.

After their first look we got to take photos of the entire wedding party and the fun began! Talk about squad goals, Taylor’s bridesmaids were all STUNNING. Dale’s groomsmen were looking dapper. I absolutely loved how excited they were for Taylor and Dale and their amazing smiles that created infectious laughter among everyone.

Oh yeah, and the toasts! Taylor’s Maid of Honor wrote the sweetest toast. Taylor and her couldn’t even look at each other without cry. I may or may not have also teared up. Dale and Taylor, you are so awesome! I’m such a fan of yours and I can’t wait to see what the future brings for you guys.

XOXO,
Kelsey

We need to talk about this uh-maze-ing wedding of Erin and Nic’s. Their wedding day was a photographer and Pinterest-lover’s dream. Chalkboard signs, string lights, stunning flowers, the most gorgeous wedding backdrop and so many amazing touches throughout the entire day.

Erin is so stunning and down for anything. I love that in moments before the wedding she was all smiles and just beaming with excitement to see her groom! Uh, also, I’d like to make it a requirement for every bride to jump on the hotel bed with the flower girl. It’s one of my favorite images I’ve taken at a wedding! Nic couldn’t have been happier, smiling every time someone talked about Erin. I couldn’t get over how he looks at his bride when I was editing the photos.

Also can we talk about how their wedding party were basically all professional models? Could there be a more attractive group of people?! They were so awesome to work with and kept everyone laughing and were so excited for Erin and Nic.

Erin and Nic, you know how have the perfect wedding and it was such an honor getting to capture your day. If you ever like need someone to you know, follow you around and take photos of everything your gorgeous-selves do, just let me know. Love you guys!

XOXO,
Kelsey

First off, Maja and Billy are officially my type of people. Maja is super chill which, probably makes me seem like the most high-maintenance woman in the world, but it didn’t seem to bother her. Billy is freaking hilarious. They both have great, sarcastic senses of humor and I imagine they must just sit around making each other laugh constantly while drinking cool, hipster beer, listening to records (ahem, they were doing this BEFORE vinyl was popular) on a record player in a swanky downtown loft apartment.

They are basically an Instagram filter come to real life, in the best way possible!

The best part of shooting weddings is getting to become friends with all my clients. However, Maja and Billy have an extra special space in my heart. And not just because I totally liked and stalked all their photos on social media and probs going to text you every time I see something that reminds me of your wedding.

Their day was probably the most relaxed wedding I have ever shot. I felt like the two of them were both so calm and centered, their family was amazing, their friends were the most fun people ever, and the whole event was perfect. The whole day was just so perfectly them. Maja had special touches on her décor and made the amazing orange and grey center pieces. She also got really unique paper flowers for her bouquet from Etsy and she had my photo booth, The Traveling Photo Trailer at the wedding! Everything was done in so much love and perfectly suited to them.

Ugh, I guess I need to stop talking about them and let you see the photos, but it’s so hard to not keep talking about you guys! Maja and Billy, you are the coolest people I know and I’m so honored I got to shoot your wedding.

XOXO,
Kelsey

Megan and Andrew are pretty much the perfect example of why I love my job. I adored every time I got to meet with them and pretty much knew their wedding day was going to be perfect. Megan is the more artsy, free spirit type (she’s also an amazing hair stylist!) and Andrew is her calm, grounding force. There could not BE a more made for each other couple.

They got married The W Banquet Hall and of course, it was hot because well, Kansas and summer. However, no one even mentioned it! Megan, Andrew and their wedding party were having so much fun no one even thought about the heat. Their wedding was the perfect celebration of their love for each other.

One of my favorite things about their wedding was the special touches throughout their day. Megan’s family friend did the freaking uh-maz-ing wedding flowers that were done with love throughout the venue. In memory of her father, Megan had the sweetest bracelet that said, I love you, Dad on them. Although her father had passed away, she found the most beautiful ways to incorporate his memory into the wedding. Yes, you can grab a tissue now.

I love you guys and had such a good time at your wedding. I felt like I was as a friend, not just your photographer, and I cannot thank you enough for making me feel like that!

XOXO,
Kelsey
